With its 2025–2028 strat­e­gy, the SIA will strive to cre­ate op­ti­mal con­di­tions for the fu­ture busi­ness ac­tiv­i­ties of its mem­bers and to demon­strate the eco­nom­ic im­por­tance of the in­sur­ance sec­tor.

Pri­vate li­a­bil­i­ty in­sur­ance may not be manda­to­ry, it is, how­ev­er, of ma­jor im­por­tance. Es­pe­cial­ly if third par­ties and their prop­er­ty are con­cerned.

The Swiss nat­ur­al per­ils pool is a joint en­ter­prise by pri­vate in­sur­ers. The pool is based on twofold sol­i­dar­i­ty.
