The self-reg­u­la­tion to pre­vent green­wash­ing adopt­ed by the Swiss In­sur­ance As­so­ci­a­tion SIA (here­inafter ‘self-reg­u­la­tion’) came in­to force on 1 Jan­u­ary 2025.

Im­proved min­i­mum stan­dard for sus­tain­able fi­nan­cial prod­ucts and ser­vices strength­ens the cred­i­bil­i­ty of the fi­nan­cial cen­tre.

Pro­fes­sion­al, strong su­per­vi­sion such as in Switzer­land strength­ens the rep­u­ta­tion of the fi­nan­cial cen­tre it su­per­vis­es.

The As­so­ci­a­tion for Pro­fes­sion­al In­sur­ance Ed­u­ca­tion (VBV-AFA) works to pro­mote in­dus­try-wide ba­sic and ad­vanced train­ing in the pri­vate in­sur­ance sec­tor.
