At the ‘In­sur­ers’ Day’ event in Bern, SIA chair­man Ste­fan Mäder ap­pealed for per­son­al ac­count­abil­i­ty and called on the guests from the fields of pol­i­tics and ad­min­is­tra­tion to ad­vo­cate for a mar­ket

The Board of Di­rec­tors is the strate­gic body of the SIA. It cur­rent­ly con­sists of 14 mem­bers, each of whom is elect­ed for three years and may be re-elect­ed there­after.

The del­e­gates of the Swiss In­sur­ance As­so­ci­a­tion SIA elect­ed Ste­fan Mäder, chair­man of the Board of Di­rec­tors of Mo­bil­iar, as their new chair­man at their An­nu­al Gen­er­al Meet­ing in Basel.

At the ‘Day of In­sur­ers’ in Lucerne, the chair­man of the Swiss In­sur­ance As­so­ci­a­tion SIA called for more sus­tain­abil­i­ty.

At the ‘Day of In­sur­ers 2021’ to­day in Lugano, Rolf Dörig, pres­i­dent of the Swiss In­sur­ance As­so­ci­a­tion SIA, em­pha­sised the im­por­tant role of the sec­tor dur­ing the coro­n­avirus pan­dem­ic.

The 52 del­e­gates elect­ed Thomas Boy­er and Jean-Daniel Laf­fe­ly to the 14-strong Man­ag­ing Board. Markus Lei­bundgut and Rolf Dörig were re-elect­ed, the lat­ter as Chair­man.
